His hard work and dedication have seen Addison Plant Ltd grow from a small family business with a turnover of £200,000 to a specialist civil engineering company with a turnover in excess of £3.5 million. He brings a wealth of experience to the company and is still heavily involved in the day to day running of the business. Bill prides himself on the close working relationship he has with his clients as well as his extensive knowledge of the construction industry, having over four decades of experience in this area/field.
She has various roles within the company which include managing the busy office and keeping all of the operatives’ training up-to-date. She has a wealth of knowledge regarding CSCS/CPCS and training plans. She is also Transport Manager and has the responsibility of keeping the wagon fleet operating smoothly and within the law.
Since completing his Civil Engineering degree in 2004, Martin has worked for a number of different companies including Gleeson Engineering, Black & Veatch and Birse Civils. He engineered on a variety of projects and gained experience on shafts, tunnels, long distance rising mains, sewage treatment works and motorway upgrades before joining Addison Plant in 2009 as a Site Manager.
Kev joined Addison Plant Ltd in 1992 as a general labourer and he soon progressed to be a plant operator. During his time at Addison Plant he has gained extensive knowledge on all aspects of civil engineering, including pressure testing and chlorination. His hard work and dedication to the job saw him promoted to a site supervisor in 2002 and then onto site manager. Since this time he has consistently won awards from Northern Counties Safety Group for his commitment and contribution to improving health and safety on site.
