Bill and Martin have enjoyed many successful years of racing, Bill since 2003 and Martin since 2009. Both starting out in the Caterham Academy, Martin going up to Roadsports and Bill going up to the R400 series and Eurocup. They both then moved to their local championship the Northern Saloon and Sportscars, Martin in his Peugeot 106 and Bill in his Caterham R400. In 2012 Bill was crowned overall winner with Martin in 3rd and Bill made it back to back championships in 2013 with another overall victory.
In 2014 Bill and Martin joined by brother Robert started racing in the Funcup endurance championship. Here they were rewarded with more success winning the diesel class in the Spa 25 hour – the toughest race of them all!
2017 Martin re-shelled his trusty Peugeot 106 into a series 2 shell to enable him to compete in the Classic Sports Car Club Tin Tops series. In 2019 after managing to complete a full season Martin scored 5 class wins with 2 overall victories and was crowned the overall winner.
Martin plans to continue racing in the Tin Tops while helping Bill build a classic Jaguar E Type race car. They are hoping the E Type will be ready for some classic meetings in 2020.
