SERVICES

1. ROADS AND SEWERS We carry out roads and sewers for varying size developments. This includes all surface water, foul drainage and first off manholes. This can include surface water attenuation tanks, ponds and flow control manholes. We install pipes up to 2.4m in diameter including connections to local authority manholes. We install the site roads up to stage one and act as principal contractor for the duration of the works.

2. INSTALLATION OF TANKS & PUMPING STATIONS We install a large variety of tanks and pumping stations including various forms of the increasingly popular storm water attenuation tanks. These have included a 1000m3 Geocellular system from Polypipe and various sizes of the Tubosider Trenchcoat system up to 1000m3. Package pumping stations are becoming increasing popular and we have installed a wide variety of shapes and sizes up to 6m deep.

3. CIVIL ENGINEERING We provide a range of services including substation construction to NPG spec, crane pad design and construction, access roads and in situ structures and surfacing works.

4. GRAVITY SEWERS AND OUTFALLS Our experience covers many different applications including river outfalls, surface water, and foul water lines for domestic and commercial applications. The majority of large new schemes have restricted flow rates. We have installed a large number of flow control valves including 3m diameter hydrobrake chambers.

5. DEEP DRAINAGE We specialise in deep drainage work and can install a variety of pipe sizes and materials up to a depth of 7m.

6. EARTHWORKS We use up to date GPS equipment to enable us to quickly survey the existing ground and provide cut and fill modelling. We have a comprehensive plant fleet which enables us to haul the material on site to stockpile or off site using our fleet of 8 wheel wagons.

7. PLANT HIRE We have a wide range of plant available for short or long-term hire, all with trained operators with CPCS cards. Please call our office for availability.

8. PILING AND COFFERDAMS We can drive Larson piles up to 7m long using vibro and air hammers, and install cofferdams at a variety of sizes up to 6m deep.

9. INSTALLATION AND TESTING OF DUCTILE IRON, GRP, MDPE RISING MAINS We lay and test pressure pipe work for pumping stations, reservoirs, and treatment works. This includes automatic butt fusion and electro fusion joints up to 710mm diameter. We can also pressure test and chlorinate all our pipe work if required.

MARTIN  ADDISON

SITE MANAGER/ENGINEER Since completing his Civil Engineering degree in 2004,  Martin has worked for a number  of different companies including Gleeson Engineering, Black & Veatch and Birse Civils.

SITE MANAGER Kev joined Addison Plant Ltd in 1992 as a general labourer and he soon progressed to be a plant operator.
